Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse - Bristol
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mental Health Nurse to join our team. Bristol Community Rehabilitation Service includes a multi disciplinary community team and a recovery focused 10 bed accommodation service. We work with people with complex mental health needs who could benefit from intensive support and therapeutic interventions.

- Salary: £39,959 - £48,117 per annum pro rata

Main Duties
- Carry out specialist rehabilitation assessments
- Provide psychosocial interventions including medication management and administration
- Key working and working with carers
- Provide supervision to Recovery Navigators
- Work primarily in the community team

Person Specification
Education and Qualification
- Diploma/Degree in nursing (Essential)
- Current NMC registration (Essential)
- Relevant post-registration qualifications e.g. Thorn, Non-Medical Prescribing, CBT (Desirable)
Experience and Knowledge
- Substantial post-registration experience in adult mental health services (Essential)
- Understanding of recovery principles (Essential)
- Experience of carers' assessments (Essential)
- Experience in mentoring/assessing students (Essential)
- Experience of risk assessment and management strategies (Essential)
- Experience of supervising others (Essential)
- Knowledge of CPA, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, Safeguarding (Essential)
- Experience in a wide variety of settings (Desirable)
Skills and Abilities
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills (Essential)
- Active listening and reframing skills (Essential)
- IT skills including Microsoft Office and electronic records (Essential)
- Willingness to embrace new technology (Essential)
Other Requirements
- Mobile and able to travel across a geographically dispersed area (Essential)
