Marketing Business Partner
We are looking for a Marketing Business Partner to join [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].
Position Overview
The Marketing Business Partner is responsible for end-to-end marketing ownership for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s VAR business, working closely with Sales, the Head of Partner Marketing, and the Alliance team to drive partner-led pipeline growth.

Salary & Benefits
The budgeted salary for this role is between £60,000 - £70,000 a year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary marketing owner for the VAR business and aligned vendor portfolios
- Build deep understanding of vendor propositions, partner programmes, incentives, and co-op models
- Translate VAR sales priorities and vendor growth goals into clear GTM strategies and plans
- Own marketing decisions, trade-offs, and outcomes
- Define VAR-focused GTM strategies including target audiences, propositions, partner overlays, and channel mix
- Build and deliver integrated marketing plans aligned to sales targets, vendor priorities, and buying cycles
- Retain full accountability for execution and results across all campaigns
- Leverage the Campaign Delivery & Digital team for digital, design, and specialist execution support
- Partner closely with VAR sales leadership and account teams to align marketing activity to opportunities and targets
- Define and support clear handover processes for qualified opportunities and partner-/vendor-sourced leads
- Operate confidently within the marketing technology stack particularly: HubSpot (campaigns, workflows, lifecycle management, basic reporting); VAR CRM / Microsoft Dynamics (lead progression, opportunities, and pipeline linkage)
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- B2B marketing experience, ideally in technology, IT services, or VAR/partner-led environments
- Proven experience owning strategy, planning, and hands-on execution
- Experience developing and executing co-marketing initiatives with vendors or partners
- Strong understanding of marketing technology stacks, particularly HubSpot and Dynamics
- Practical working knowledge of LinkedIn, GA4, and core digital channels
- Experience working closely with sales teams on handover and conversion
- Commercial mindset with understanding of sales pipelines and partner-influenced buying cycles
Desirable:
- Experience working with Microsoft and/or major ISV vendors
- Familiarity with MDF, co-op funding, and partner performance reporting
- Exposure to alliance or partner ecosystem marketing models
- Experience working in matrixed organisations
