Revenue Accountant
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a detail-driven Revenue Accountant to join the Bristol finance team. This is a permanent, full-time role (part-time considered) based in Programme, Tower Lane, Bristol, BS1 2NB. Salary: £35,000 to £50,000 per annum DOE.

Role Specification
We’re looking for a detail‑driven and commercially minded Revenue Accountant. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and issuing multicurrency sales invoices in a complex medical insurance environment across D2C and B2B channels
- Allocating payments and managing credit control
- Coordinating sales order processing across all channels
- Owning the revenue recognition process in line with internal policies and accounting standards, including warranty accounting
- Preparing monthly revenue journals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Accounting for output VAT and overseas sales taxes
- Monitoring sales order pipelines and analysing revenue trends
- Working closely with sales and clinical operations
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting
- Continuous improvement of processes and reporting tools
Person Scorecard
Essential:
- 3-5 years’ experience in revenue accounting or management accounting
- Familiarity with group accounting in a multicurrency environment
- Excellent Advanced Excel skills and confidence with large data sets
- High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving mindset
- Ability to communicate clearly with non‑finance colleagues
- Qualified or part-qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- Able to commute daily to Bristol City Centre office
Desirable:
- Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP
- Experience implementing BI tools (PowerBI, Looker Studio, or similar)
- Experience in a product-driven tech business
- Experience in a start-up company
