Job Description

When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you play a key role in optimising processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. This is an internal and external customer facing role to develop and promote the growth of sea freight business from the respective transatlantic trade lane. You will be subject matter expert of all aspects of the designated trade lanes. You will promote and develop the UK with overseas partners. The role will be targeted on overall development of the designated Route in terms of both Volume and Profit. This role is National so you can be based all over UK willing to commute to one of our offices.

How you create impact

  • Lead and support joint client visits, sharing market insights and driving new business opportunities
  • Collaborate across sales and operations to develop trade lane strategies aligned with growth targets
  • Maintain service excellence by monitoring KPIs and conducting regular customer business reviews
  • Strengthen relationships with overseas partners and internal stakeholders to support global logistics goals
  • Guide local teams and managers through regular reviews, coaching, and operational alignment
  • Partner with pricing and sales teams to improve quote conversions and ensure profitable sourcing
  • Analyze market trends and sector strategies to identify new opportunities and drive expansion
  • Represent the business through national and international travel, fostering engagement and visibility
