Job Overview
We have a current opportunity for a Senior Project Control Engineer on a Contract basis. Leading the UK's Nuclear New Build Programme constructing a nuclear power station at Hinkley Point C, Somerset and Sizewell C, Suffolk. Working within a key aspect of an Integrated Project Controls team, our team aims to act as a centre of excellence for project controls implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Estimating management and provide assurance of Project Controls data.
- Produce and maintain accurate forecasts in alignment with CBS/WBS.
- Deliver reports on a defined cycle, including commentary on key drivers.
- Support Programme/Area Directors in implementing Estimating management.
- Work with IPC colleagues to ensure schedule and cost estimates are informed by risk information.
- Enhance integrated Estimating procedures, reporting and tools.
- Manage PowerBI dashboards and provide improvement proposals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in project management, project controls, engineering or related field.
- Experience in Project Management environment.
- Demonstrable expertise in project controls discipline.
- Expert knowledge of Estimating tools and techniques.
- Experience on major construction projects desirable.
- Experience in nuclear or highly regulated industry desirable.
Tools & Software
Expertise required in: EcoSys, Primavera P6, Microsoft Office, ARM, @risk, Safran, Adobe Professional.
