Accounts Payable Clerk - Immingham

The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team at the Immingham site. This role is essential in supporting the day-to-day financial operations, with a focus on invoice processing, expense management, and bank reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of all purchase invoices, whether through maintenance management systems or finance systems. Obtain necessary approvals and maintain proper documentation.
- Cashbook & Bank Reconciliations: Maintain all cashbooks and perform daily bank reconciliations. Accurately apply cash and post relevant journal entries.
- Payment Runs: Prepare and process weekly and ad hoc payment runs. Ensure all payments are approved and executed in accordance with company policies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary contact for managers and colleagues regarding invoice and expense queries. Provide support and guidance as needed.
- Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all financial transactions comply with internal controls and accounting standards.
What We're Looking For
- 2-3 years experience in accounts payable
- Flexible approach to work
- Good interpersonal, communication and listening skills
- Able to use own initiative
- IT literate, capable of using Microsoft Office applications
