Shift patterns: 12hr Day & Night 3 Shift Rotation System
Week 1: 0700-1700 (Mon-Thu, Fri)
Week 2: 0700-1700 (Mon-Tue), 1900-0700 (Wed-Thu)
Week 3: 1900-0700 (Mon-Wed)
Pay rate: Up to £22.17 per hour Umbrella / PAYE £16.31 per hour
Location: Oxfordshire
Security Clearance: SC (could start with BPSS)

Responsibilities

  • Carry out decommissioning/waste/decontamination activities in a radioactive environment as directed.
  • Carry out waste streaming, size reduction and packaging activities as directed.
  • Operate powered equipment to facilitate decommissioning and waste tasks.
  • Maintain waste records as required.
  • Wear a variety of personal protective equipment and clothing.
  • When requested cover the chargehand role during absences.
  • Support effective deployment of company-wide policies, processes, systems and procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of radiological matters and nuclear safety standards.
  • Security Clearance: SC (BPSS acceptable to start).
