Key Responsibilities

About You

You are a caring and conscientious Healthcare Assistant who takes pride in delivering safe, respectful, and person‑centred care. You are confident working with patients from diverse backgrounds and understand the importance of empathy, professionalism, and discretion in every interaction.

You bring:

  • Phlebotomy skills, with the confidence to carry out procedures calmly, safely, and in line with agreed competencies and clinical guidance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to explain procedures clearly, listen attentively to patient concerns, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • A strong understanding of relevant policies, regulatory standards, and current legislation, with a commitment to compliance, confidentiality, and best practice at all times
  • The ability to build trust and rapport with patients, demonstrating compassion, emotional intelligence, and reassurance throughout their care journey
  • A high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in record‑keeping, adherence to care plans, and the consistent delivery of high‑quality care
  • A flexible and reliable approach, with the ability to adapt to different clinical settings, work independently when required, and contribute positively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • A genuine passion for patient care, with a proactive attitude and a desire to continuously learn and develop within a healthcare environment
