Healthcare Assistant
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support a young man in his 20s within his family home in Bawtry. The role involves 2:1 care during the day and 1:1 overnight support, including personal care, medication, PEG feeding, CPAP ventilation, and engagement in sensory activities. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 months care experience and a full UK driving licence.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal care delivered with dignity and respect
- Support with mobility and safe moving & handling
- Assistance with medication as required
- PEG feeding in line with care plan requirements
- CPAP ventilation support and monitoring
- Supporting communication through observation and interaction
- Engagement in sensory activities and daily routines
- Overnight monitoring to ensure safety and wellbeing
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 months’ hands-on care experience
- Confident with personal care, medication, and moving & handling
- Calm, patient, and attentive approach
- Clear communication skills
- Full UK driving licence required
