Healthcare Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join a dedicated 2:1 care team supporting a bright, independent young man in his 20s with complex care needs in his own home. He runs his own travel business and enjoys a busy social life, including walks, gigs, coffee trips, and travel. You will provide person-centred 2:1 care, supporting his complex needs during the day. You will assist with personal care, medication, and clinical requirements, support him with daily activities and social outings, and accompany him on holidays and trips away. He has Autism and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).

Requirements

• 3 months’ care experience
• Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Full UK driving licence (required for day shifts)
• Pet Friendly
