SAA-uk Education & Projects Assistant (Freelance)
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] (SAA-uk) is seeking a freelance Education & Projects Assistant to support the Education team. This hybrid role is based in Leeds, offering 15 hours per week during term time at £15 per hour.
Role Purpose
This new post strengthens the capacity of the Education team, working across Arts Award support, curriculum development, and administrative tasks. You will work closely with the Music Development Officer and Education & Learning Co-ordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Arts Award support – Maintain participant tracking, prepare materials, support workshops and assessment activities, handle data entry and communications.
- Curriculum and programme support – Assist with termly academy classes, bootcamps, enrichment performances, summer school, residential retreat, and special projects.
- General administration and operational support – Handle correspondence, venue hire research, contract support, data entry, class communications, record-keeping, and marketing assistance.
Person Specification
Essential: Strong organisational and administrative skills, ability to multitask, clear communication, flexibility, understanding of [Employer hidden], proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to work independently and in a team.
Desirable: Experience in an administrative/coordination role in arts/education/charity, familiarity with Arts Award, experience with young people, interest in music/performing arts, data tracking/CRM skills, valid driving license.
