We are recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], part of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. This is a fixed-term, full-time role working 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. Salary: £18,801 - £19,226 per annum (actual).
About this Role

The Role - Level 2 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivating and energetic Teaching Assistant to work alongside our dedicated and enthusiastic colleagues at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].

As a Teaching Assistant your main responsibilities will include: in-class support, group work, interventions, 1:1 support, first aid and general welfare responsibilities with direct from the SENDco. The roles require a good knowledge of current practices, including phonics, a positive approach, a willingness to learn and a desire to be part of an effective team.
This role is directly linked to supporting a pupil with an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP), and its continuation is subject to the pupil’s ongoing needs and support.
You will be appointed on Grade 3, working 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. Your working pattern will be discussed at interview stage. You will be employed on a fixed term contract.
Your actual salary will be £18801 - £19226

- Have experience of working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
