FULL DESCRIPTION
National Bids, Tenders and Framework Manager
We are looking for a National Bids, Tenders and Framework Manager to lead our bids, tenders and framework team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. This role offers flexible working from anywhere in the UK with access to Regus offices nationwide and occasional travel.
Package: £54,500 - £65,300 + 20% bonus and car allowance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a dynamic Bids & Tenders team to respond to over £35M worth of tenders annually.
- Develop and implement strategies, tools, and processes to enhance tender preparation, productivity, and win rates.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Sales Managers, Account Managers, Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams.
- Act as primary contact for external framework partners, maintaining strategic and tactical relationships.
- Ensure Bid Library content is reviewed and updated every 6 months.
- Monitor tender and framework responses for timely and compliant submission.
- Own administration and continuous improvement of the Uplands (Qvidian) Bid Management platform.
- Develop and maintain a high-quality, searchable content library.
- Drive user adoption and capability through guidance, training, and support.
- Produce management information from Qvidian to improve efficiency and win-rate.
- Oversee participation in public sector framework agreements ensuring compliance and relationship management.
- Proactive engagement with public sector clients and framework partners.
About You
- Proven experience in a similar bids/tenders management role with a successful track record in winning bids.
- Inspirational leadership skills with experience managing teams through change.
- Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Expertise in managing framework agreements with commercial and financial acumen.
- Strong business and industry understanding, particularly in public sector sales.
- High-impact verbal and written communication skills with strong influencing abilities.
- Experience of using and developing RFP software solutions.
- Useful: PRINCE2 and/or APMP qualified (or equivalent).
