Assistant Development Manager - Advantage Card
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an Assistant Development Manager to help develop the UK's most loved retail loyalty scheme, the [Employer hidden] Advantage Card. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Nottingham.
What you'll be doing
This is a fantastic opportunity to help develop the UK's most loved retail loyalty scheme, the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Advantage Card. You'll be part of our development team, creating, testing and refining important changes to the Advantage Card, and delivering improvements to the cardholder experience. Develop, transform and re-launching one of the most successful and popular retail loyalty schemes in the UK is an important strategic focus for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. Part of our customer marketing team, you will report into the Development and Strategy Manager, Advantage Card. You will work with cross-functional teams to identify the successful customer launch of new propositions and improvements to the Advantage Card and our clubs. Additionally, it will contribute to the future direction of our scheme. You will be creative, think differently, influence and learn quickly. You'll develop your skills within a complex organisation and a broad range of channels and challenges.
Key responsibilities
- You'll contribute to the development of our future customer loyalty propositions, working with external partners and cross functional stakeholders across marketing, commercial, product development and our IT teams.
- You'll bring thinking and creativity to creating, championing and launching new propositions, ensuring successful customer rollout and business adoption. Leading delivery of customer launches, tests and campaigns, and working with our customer marketing team and other cross functional teams to embed new capabilities in our ways of working
- You'll manage a funnel of development ideas, and prioritise and deliver test and learn activity to learn quickly and identify successes and fast fails
- You'll review and learn from competitor loyalty schemes to shape our plans, and champion and share competitor insights in the loyalty team
- You'll optimise and evaluate results and optimise performance against key KPIs across all projects
- You'll manage development budgets and processes
What you'll need to have (our must-haves)
- An experienced junior manager with a strong track record of leading teams, improving processes, delivering results, and experience introducing new solutions from trial, to evaluation, to rollout.
- Ideally, you'll have either a strong marketing background with experience of targeted and/or digital marketing, or experience in a related analytical or commercial role, or in product development or project management and delivery
- Self-starter, able to think differently and explore new ways to improve customer experiences and overcome challenges
- Excellent relationship builder and ability to present ideas and solutions to company partners and external agency partners
- Commercially and financially aware
- Experience with using data to make customer focussed and commercial decisions.
- Flexible, and comfortable working on new challenges, and ambiguity
