[Employer hidden] is seeking a Senior Demand Planning & Automation Manager to lead forecasting strategy and S&OP cycles, leveraging AI and automation to optimize supply chain for a high-growth sustainable consumer goods company.

The Mission
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is scaling at a pace that renders traditional spreadsheets obsolete. We are looking for a forward-thinking Demand Planning Manager to lead our forecasting strategy and bridge the gap between traditional S&OP and the future of AI-driven supply chain management. You will own the global demand signal across DTC and Retail channels, leveraging machine learning and automation to turn complex data into commercial gold. This role reports into our Demand Planning Lead. Please note, this is a mid-level role.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecasting & S&OP Excellence
- Cycle Ownership: Own and coordinate the full monthly S&OP cycle.
- Global Inputs: Own DTC and retail global forecast inputs.
- Retail Intelligence: Translate account management EPOS data into precise forecasts.
- Financial Alignment: Manage bottom-up consensus and reconcile against top-down targets.
- Advanced Quant, Reporting & AI
- Technical Interrogation: Interrogate large and complex datasets.
- AI Tool Building: Build and improve demand planning reporting using AI.
- Eradicate Manual Work: Automate repetitive tasks.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in forecast accuracy.
- Stock Risk & Supply Alignment
- Proactive Management: Manage stock risks.
- Risk & Opportunities: Monitor stock cover and write-off risk.
- Lifecycle Transitions: Support range review processes.
- People & Stakeholder Management
- Team Leadership: Manage the Demand Planning Executive.
- Influencing without Authority: Collaborate cross-functionally.
- Strategic Communication: Communicate complex planning challenges to senior stakeholders.
What we need from you
- Core Experience: Strong retail demand planning background.
- The Quant Mindset: Ability to manipulate large datasets using Excel, SQL, BI tools.
- S&OP Expertise: Experience coordinating S&OP cycles in consumer goods.
- AI & Automation: Hands-on experience with AI tools.
- High Agency: Proactive problem solver.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills.
- Leadership: Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
- FMCG/D2C Interest: Passion for sustainable products.
