FULL DESCRIPTION

Lead Data Analyst

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 DOE

At [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], our mission is to inspire and influence great companies to grow — helping define the future of marketing in the process. We’re a performance marketing and technology agency founded in 2020 on the belief that when you combine performance marketers with data scientists and engineers, exceptional things happen. Since launch, we’ve been recognised in the Deloitte Fast 50 and ranked in the top 8% of the Financial Times’ Fastest Growing Companies in Europe. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is founder-led and independent, with no outside investors. That means we move fast, stay true to our vision, and invest in building genuinely impactful marketing technology — not just agency services. We’re problem-solvers by nature, driven by skills-stacking, experimentation and a belief in doing good while doing well.

The Role

As Lead Data Analyst, you will act as a key partner to the Head of Analytics, taking full ownership of our most strategic client accounts. This is a high-impact role where you will operate as a data and technology partner for your clients, owning their tech roadmap while fostering a proactive relationship with them. Focusing on the core analytical infrastructure and strategy, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of data projects. You will define the strategy with the client, architect the data transformations in dbt, and present the final insights to C-suite stakeholders. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and business value, ensuring that our work translates directly into profit for our clients.

About You

You are a senior data practitioner who loves the intersection of technical building and commercial strategy. You are just as comfortable writing complex dbt models and SQL transformations as you are presenting an insightful piece of analysis to a Marketing Director. You are highly organised, an exceptional communicator, and capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy.

You Should Apply If You

  • Have a strong technical background with expert-level proficiency in SQL and dbt and are comfortable building and maintaining production-grade data models
  • Have extensive experience in Client Management. You have ideally acted in a consulting role, creating 6-12 month data roadmaps and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Are a master of Data Visualisation (Tableau, Looker, etc.) and know how to tell a compelling story with data, not just display numbers.
  • Have strong Project Management and Organisational skills. You can manage multiple workstreams, prioritise effective backlogs, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Have a deep understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, including tracking, attribution, and platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, and GA4.
  • Have some experience or interest in Data Science/Modelling (e.g., Python for forecasting or lightweight regression models)
  • Have excellent communication skills. You can translate complex technical concepts (like attribution models or server-side tracking) into clear, non-technical language for clients.
  • Are ready to act as a senior leader within the team, mentoring junior analysts and setting the standard for analytical rigour and client service.
