Job Description
We're seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded Head of Organic Search to lead and scale our organic search offering. This role will define the long-term vision for Organic at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] - leading strategy, productisation, delivery frameworks and commercial performance - while building and leading a high-performing organic search department.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in organic search, including senior leadership within an agency environment
- Proven track record of building, scaling or transforming an organic search function or department
- Extensive experience managing large-scale organic search programmes across complex client accounts
- A strong commercial focus, with experience driving bottom-funnel performance through organic search
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to organic search performance
- Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders at C-suite or Founder level
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Experience leading, mentoring and developing senior team members
Desired Skills
- Experience productising organic search services into scalable, differentiated offerings
- Experience using automation, tooling, or scalable workflows to support organic search performance
- Experience working with multi-functional teams across SEO, Paid Media and Data
- Experience working across a range of business verticals

Job Responsibilities
- Own and define the strategic direction of Organic Search across the agency, setting the vision, frameworks and quality standards that underpin delivery
- In the initial build phase, lead organic search strategy and delivery across a portfolio of existing clients, with the objective of transitioning to departmental oversight as the team structure is established
- Partner with internal teams and senior client stakeholders to translate departmental strategy into innovative, client-specific organic growth plans aligned with business objectives
- Develop and refine organic search processes, products and pricing models to ensure delivery is scalable, commercially robust and future-proofed as the offering grows
- Own revenue growth, profitability and commercial performance of the Organic department
- Support new business and account growth through leading pitch strategy, audits and identifying high-value upsell opportunities
- Design, hire and develop the organic search team, defining structure, capability roadmaps and performance standards across the department
- Contribute to agency-wide strategic planning as part of the senior leadership team
