Assistant Manager
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring an Assistant Manager for their shop in Cumnock, East Ayrshire. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a salary of £31,449.60 to £32,648.16 per annum.
About the Role
As Assistant Manager at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you will work closely with the Shop Manager to run an efficient shop and provide great service. Key responsibilities include:
- Coaching, mentoring and developing retail assistants
- Managing the shop in the manager's absence
- Ensuring deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines are maintained
- Controlling operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll
- Supporting recruitment and induction of new team members

- Trustworthy and reliable character
- Previous experience as a manager, team leader or supervisor
- Willingness to complete Employment Verification and Basic DBS/Disclosure Scotland check
