Retail Assistant - Part Time

Job Description

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 8 hours worked over 2 days from 7 each week, including weekends.

• Ages 16-20 = £10.95 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find items
• Give fast and friendly service at tills, offer help to pack
• Handle stock with care during deliveries, place products into freezers and onto shelves
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines to keep shops safe, clean and tidy

Requirements

• Friendly, positive, hard working approach
• Enjoy being busy – put out deliveries, serve on till, help customers, complete cleaning and stock rotation
• Be reliable as part of a small team
• Flexibility with shifts – rota planned three weeks in advance
