Retail Assistant - Part Time

The role involves welcoming customers, helping with product location, till service, stock handling, and maintaining shop cleanliness. Pay & Benefits
The amount that you will earn depends on your age: Ages 16-20 = £10.95 per hour; Ages 21+ = £12.81 per hour. Responsibilities
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
- Help customers find the items they are looking for.
- Give fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression.
- Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves.
- Work with the rest of your team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy.
Requirements
- A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
- To enjoy being busy – jumping from putting out deliveries to serving on the till, helping customers, completing cleaning and stock rotation.
- To be reliable – an important part of a small team.
- A bit of flexibility when it comes to shifts – rota planned three weeks in advance.
