Shop Manager

About the Role

We are looking to recruit a new shop manager for our shop in Tong Street, Bradford. We offer a permanent full time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week.

Please note that for full time positions we will require you to be fully flexible in your availability for work throughout the week, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example and manage daily tasks in a busy shop
• Motivate and inspire your team to provide great service
• Recruit, induct, and develop your team through coaching and feedback
• Be fully accountable for the shop – customer care, deliveries, routines
• Control key costs (shrinkage, waste, payroll) to achieve KPI’s
• Meet standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, merchandising

Requirements

• Friendly, positive, hardworking attitude
• Excellent leadership and motivational skills
• A ‘people person’ who builds strong relationships
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Experience as a manager or assistant manager
• Full driving licence desirable but not essential
• Must pass an Employment Verification and Basic DBS/Disclosure Scotland check
