Operations Manager
Full Time - 40 hours per week
Salary: £31,500 - £36,500 (depending on experience)

The Role
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] operations, systems and delivery processes run efficiently, consistently and to a high professional standard across multiple initiatives. This role plays a key part in ensuring programmes, events and strategic initiatives are delivered in a structured, scalable and compliant way. You will support operational planning, systems implementation, delivery oversight and continuous improvement — helping ensure [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] can scale its impact while maintaining high quality and strong governance standards. This role provides strong exposure to organisational operations and offers opportunity to grow into senior operational leadership or programme oversight roles over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Systems and Process Management: Support development, implementation and maintenance of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] operational systems; maintain delivery processes, SOPs, templates and operational frameworks; support coordination of operational workflows across initiatives; support implementation of new operational tools or systems where required.
- Programme and Delivery Operations: Support operational planning across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] programmes, initiatives and events; support coordination of delivery timelines, resources and operational readiness; support maintaining delivery standards and quality assurance processes; support coordination across teams where delivery overlaps across initiatives.
- Compliance, Governance and Risk Support: Support operational compliance with organisational policies and safeguarding requirements; support preparation and maintenance of delivery documentation and compliance records; support implementation of risk management and contingency planning processes; support reporting requirements where linked to operations and delivery.
- Data, Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Support tracking of operational performance indicators; support preparation of operational reports and delivery summaries; support identification of process gaps, risks and improvement opportunities; support development of operational dashboards and tracking tools.
- Cross-Team Operational Coordination: Work closely with Programme, Events, Marketing and Leadership teams; support coordination of operational planning across multiple initiatives; act as a central point of operational coordination during key delivery periods.
- Continuous Improvement and Scaling: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and delivery consistency; support development of scalable operational systems and processes; support embedding strong delivery culture and accountability across teams.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Experience in operations, programme delivery or coordination environments
- Strong organisational and systems-thinking ability
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Good IT skills (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRM or tracking tools)
Desirable
- Experience working in charity, education, community or mission-driven organisations
- Experience supporting multi-project or multi-stakeholder delivery
- Experience working with project management tools (Asana, Monday, ClickUp or similar)
- Experience supporting compliance, safeguarding or reporting processes
