Consultant - Data & Enterprise Architecture

We're one of the UK's largest and most trusted back-office transformation consultancy, supporting clients to transform their HR, Payroll, Finance and Procurement services. As a Consultant within Data & Enterprise Architecture you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analysing data, engaging with business subject matter experts and projects teams to support the clients HR & Finance transformation programmes.
Location: Hybrid – UK wide. We operate a hybrid working model, typically combining office and remote work. Some roles may also require occasional travel to client sites.
Role Description
- Gather data from multiple sources, such as internal databases, external APIs, and third-party tools.
- Clean, validate, and transform raw data into usable formats.
- Maintain and update databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Perform statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
- Conduct deep dives into specific business problems to provide recommendations based on data insights.
- Create dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using tools like Power BI, or Excel.
- Present findings to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Technology, HR and Finance.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards.
- Document workflows, methodologies, and data sources.
- Definition of a future-state architecture with client stakeholders.
- Impact assessment of current to future state.
- Participating in workshops in all architecture-related areas.
Requirements
Required:
- Previous experience in a data role.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience of HR, Finance or SaaS implementation projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Desirable:
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other analytical tools.
- Familiarity with statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.
