Site Manager
Salary: £37,500 pa
Location: Wisbech, PE13
Type: Permanent, Full Time

We’re growing fast - and we’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Site Manager to lead our on-site recycling operations, drive best practice, and create a safe, positive working environment for our team.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead your site team to ensure all waste streams are collected, segregated, and handled correctly
- Support all on-site staff to keep operations running smoothly
- Oversee skip/container usage to prevent overloads and maintain site efficiency
- Identify and drive process improvements that reduce cost and improve service
- Provide guidance on best practice in waste segregation and environmental compliance
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing all H&S policies, EA guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Complete H&S reports in full and on time
- Conduct accident/incident investigations to identify root causes
- Manage, motivate, and support the site team to deliver a high standard of work
- Be a role model for professional conduct and behaviour, and foster a positive, safe, and engaged team culture
- Deliver training, toolbox talks, plant briefs and regular team updates
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience managing an operational team
- Confident IT skills
- FLT experience (desirable)
- IOSH qualification (desirable)
- Knowledge of waste management processes (desirable)
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
Location: Customer site in Wisbech, PE13
