The Role

We are seeking a reliable, creative, and compassionate Cook to join our team on a part‑time basis. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cooking fresh, well‑balanced meals and snacks for residents
• Catering for dietary requirements, allergies, preferences, and textured diets
• Maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment in line with food hygiene standards
• Working collaboratively with care and management teams
• Supporting menu planning and food ordering when required
• Ensuring a positive dining experience for all residents

This role includes working alternate weekends.

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Have experience cooking in a care home or similar setting (desirable but not essential)
• Are confident preparing meals from scratch
• Have a good understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
• Are friendly, organised, and passionate about good food and good care
