Good food is at the heart of our home, supporting the health, wellbeing, and happiness of our residents — and we’re looking for a Cook who shares our passion for nutritious, home‑cooked meals.
Hours: Part-Time – 24 Hours per Week
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Location: Dinnington, Sheffield (S25 2NY)
The Role
We are seeking a reliable, creative, and compassionate Cook to join our team on a part‑time basis. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cooking fresh, well‑balanced meals and snacks for residents
- Catering for dietary requirements, allergies, preferences, and textured diets
- Maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment in line with food hygiene standards
- Working collaboratively with care and management teams
- Supporting menu planning and food ordering when required
- Ensuring a positive dining experience for all residents
This role includes working alternate weekends.
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have experience cooking in a care home or similar setting (desirable but not essential)
- Are confident preparing meals from scratch
- Have a good understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations
- Are friendly, organised, and passionate about good food and good care
