RTB & RTA Sales Manager

About the Role

You’ll provide an effective, customer-focused service for the processing of Right to Buy (RTB) and Right to Acquire (RTA) applications and sales, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements throughout. You’ll manage customer enquiries and applications, confirm eligibility, secure required customer contributions, and oversee the continuous improvement of procedures, making full use of QL and Documotive to track live cases and monitor performance. The role also includes supervising the RTB and RTA Sales Assistant, supporting their development while ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained.

You’ll oversee activity through to sale completion, ensuring systems are updated to reflect changes in property status, supporting financial accounting and reconciliation of disposals, and providing information to reclaim RTA grants. Working closely with internal teams and external solicitors, you’ll also manage legal enquiries and post-sale matters, including deeds of postponement and other legal requirements associated with RTB and RTA sales.

What We’re Looking For

  • Knowledge of preserved Right to Buy and Right to Acquire legislation and practice.
  • Intermediate IT skills.
  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.
