To support the continued delivery of technology solutions to the business, we now have an opportunity for a Software Development Manager to lead cross‑functional squads including developers, testers and analysts, ensuring that solutions are delivered efficiently consistently, and aligned with business objectives.

The Software Development Manager is responsible for defining product strategy, prioritising the product roadmap, and ensuring successful delivery of features by coordinating the efforts of developers, testers, and stakeholders. The role ensures alignment between business goals, user needs, and technical capabilities.
To be successful in the role you will need:
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to interpret technical concepts and communicate them to non‑technical users.
- Extensive experience as a Manager managing developers/testers.
- Commercial experience in software development
- Hands-on experience building and consuming APIs
- Experience working with C#, Python, Angular and Azure in a production environment
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities with experience of managing developers/testers.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands‑on delivery management.
- Calm under pressure, decisive, and able to manage shifting priorities.
