About the Role

Do you thrive on uncovering the truth, navigating complex situations and driving positive organisational change? Are you someone who believes that integrity isn’t just a value, it’s a way of working? If you’re looking for a role where your work directly protects people, strengthens ethical culture and safeguards an entire organisation, then this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

The Ethics & Compliance Investigator plays a critical role in protecting our people, our values, and our reputation. You’ll lead fair, robust and confidential investigations into a wide range of issues, from whistleblowing disclosures and fraud to bullying, harassment and other forms of misconduct. Every case you handle will help uphold a culture where doing the right thing truly matters.

In this role, you’ll ensure all matters are approached with integrity, impartiality and professionalism, working in line with legal standards, corporate policies, and best‑practice guidance. Your work won’t stop at investigations; you’ll also help strengthen our ethical culture by shaping processes, supporting intelligence and due‑diligence activities, and identifying opportunities to reduce risk across the organisation.

Initially based within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and for a fixed duration of 2 years, you’ll have the opportunity to influence and support cases across the wider NDA Group. Over time, the role offers the chance to transition into a matrix‑managed investigative resource pool, ideal for someone seeking long‑term growth, complexity, and impact.

You’ll be at the heart of shaping how we investigate, learn, and continually strengthen our ethical culture. You’ll help build and refine our frameworks, tools, and training, creating an environment where best practice isn’t just followed, it’s evolved.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead or support investigations into misconduct, unethical behaviour, criminality, and policy non‑compliance.
  • Gather, analyse, and securely manage evidence, conducting interviews and producing clear, high‑quality investigation reports.
  • Work collaboratively with HR, Legal, managers, and other stakeholders to manage sensitive cases with fairness, confidentiality, and empathy.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience conducting complex workplace, ethics, compliance, regulatory, or criminal investigations.
  • Strong analytical, interviewing, and reporting skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially and objectively.
  • The judgement, organisation, and communication skills needed to influence stakeholders and manage multiple priorities with confidence.

What You’ll Demonstrate

  • Strong ethical judgement, discretion, and the ability to handle difficult conversations with confidence and empathy.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, grounded in objectivity and professionalism.
  • A commitment to learning, growth, and continuous improvement in a complex, sensitive environment.
