An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Apprentice to join [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], a growing and forward-thinking managed IT services provider. The company supports businesses across the UK with a wide range of services, from day-to-day IT support to cloud solutions and cybersecurity, helping organisations stay secure, productive, and ahead of the curve.
A Typical Day in the Job
- Provide first-line IT support via Zendesk, managing tickets and meeting SLAs
- Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues for end users
- Escalate complex issues when required and keep ticket records up to date
- Install, configure, and test PCs, displays, and components in a lab environment
- Assist with system maintenance, updates, and basic network tasks
- Follow IT procedures and support documentation of processes

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge
- Motivated and eager to learn within an IT support environment
- Reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
- Confident communicator, both over the phone and in person
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced, and phone-heavy setting
- Demonstrates a genuine interest in IT support and technology
- Willingness to develop technical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Holds a driving license or is currently learning to drive (preferred but not essential)
- Grade 4 in GCSE Maths & Grade 5 in GCSE English
Salary, Hours & Benefits
- £16,500-£18,500 per annum.
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm with 1 hour lunch
- 28 days per year (includes Bank Holidays and Christmas/New Year Closure)

This Level 3 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in IT. You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT. You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
