Graduate Learning Support Assistant, Walthamstow

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a compassionate, resilient and driven Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join a Good secondary school in Walthamstow. This rewarding role involves supporting marginalised learners, with a salary of £520 - £535 per week. Full-time, on-site position in the Education sector.

Duties

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Support marginalised learners, including students with SEND, SEMH needs or those facing social barriers
  • Deliver targeted intervention sessions to boost attainment and engagement
  • Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
  • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
  • Make a meaningful impact on students’ educational journeys
