Assembly Operative

Location: Irvine, North Ayrshire, Scotland

Salary: £12.70 - 12.71 per hour

Duties

Company Mission: Provide a variety of consumer goods across the UK market such as telescopic ladders, Lockers etc.

Role Overview: The Frame Assembler is responsible for assembling metal frame lockers in line with agreed design specifications and company quality standards. The role requires attention to detail, a strong safety mindset, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement within the warehouse.

Key Duties

  • Assemble the lockers, ladders in accordance with methods set by Design and Development
  • Work to agreed quality standards as trained and documented by the company
  • Follow all Health and Safety requirements including correct use of PPE safety footwear
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping across workstations and department areas
  • Ensure tools and equipment are kept clean, safe and in full working order
  • Handle products carefully to prevent damage to materials or injury
  • Keep training records up to date
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested
  • Work in line with the company Health and Safety Policy at all times
