Job Description
A welcoming, inclusive, and community-focused primary school in Manchester is seeking an experienced and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality support and help create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Supporting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum learning
- Delivering targeted interventions and structured small group work
- Providing 1:1 support, including for pupils with additional needs
- Supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and inclusion
- Contributing to a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment
About You
- A Level 2 / 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND
- A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Strong spoken English skills are essential to effectively support pupils, particularly in a school with a high proportion of learners with English as an Additional Language (EAL)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must have the right to work in the UK
