Graduate Unqualified Maths Teacher

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands, England

Salary: £22,601 - £27,785 per year

Job Type: Full Time

The Role

As a Graduate Maths Unqualified Teacher, you will play a key role within a dynamic and successful Maths department. You will support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to Key Stage 5 depending on your subject knowledge and confidence.

  • Delivering engaging and well-structured Maths lessons using established resources.
  • Supporting students in developing strong numerical, algebraic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Leading targeted small-group interventions to boost attainment.
  • Assisting with lesson preparation, marking, and assessment.
  • Encouraging logical thinking, resilience, and effective revision strategies.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to drive excellent outcomes across the department.

Candidate Profile

  • A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject, ideally at 2:1 or above.
