Job Description

A high-performing secondary school in Brent, North West London, is seeking exceptional Graduate Unqualified Teachers to join its dynamic team from September. This role is open to graduates in Art, Economics, Computer Science, English, Geography, Physics, Chemistry and Maths who are eager to gain classroom experience before formal teacher training.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4 within your subject specialism.
  • Supporting students’ academic progress and subject understanding.
  • Leading small group interventions and targeted support sessions.
  • Developing strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Assisting with lesson preparation, marking, and assessment.
  • Gaining exposure to curriculum planning and wider school life.

Candidate Requirements

  • On track to achieve (or have achieved) a 2:1 degree or above in Art, Economics, Computer Science, English, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, or related subjects.
  • Graduating this year and ready to begin full-time from September.
  • Genuine commitment to a teaching career.
  • Strong academic ability and excellent communication skills.
  • Professional, reflective, and eager to learn.
  • Experience with young people desirable but not essential.
