Do you want to support students who need additional help with communication, engagement and learning?

A specialist SEN school in Croydon is seeking a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. This role is ideal for graduates passionate about supporting young people with additional needs while developing experience in education.

You will support pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD and speech and language difficulties. Working closely with teachers and SEN staff, you will help students access the curriculum, build confidence and develop key life skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Deliver targeted interventions tailored to individual needs
  • Support communication, engagement and learning
  • Work towards EHCP targets and personalised strategies

You will play a key role in helping students engage with learning, overcome barriers and thrive within a structured and supportive environment.

Requirements

  • A 2:1 or above in any subject
  • A genuine interest in SEN
  • Strong communication skills and resilience
  • Experience with young people or SEN (desirable, not essential)
