Job Description

Are you a Science Teacher passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists? Do you have the curiosity and enthusiasm to bring science to life in the classroom? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher (or Early Career Teacher - ECT) to join our dynamic and welcoming secondary school in Leeds, starting in the upcoming academic year.

What's the role?

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Foster a love of learning and scientific curiosity in all students
  • Plan and assess effectively to support student progress
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive department

What are we looking for?

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has a 2:1 degree or higher in a scientific subject (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
  • Has strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
  • Is passionate about teaching and learning
  • Is committed to student achievement and wellbeing
  • ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply - a structured induction and mentoring programme is provided
