About the Role
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will become a key part of the school’s SEND provision, supporting pupils who need additional help to access learning and succeed. You’ll work closely with children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping to break down barriers to learning and build confidence, independence and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver focused 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Work alongside teachers to support engaging, accessible lesson delivery
- Help create a calm, inclusive and positive learning environment
- Support pupils’ academic progress as well as their social and emotional development
Who We're Looking For
- Graduates with a 2:2 degree or above (Psychology, Education, Core Subjects or related preferred)
- Calm, patient and genuinely motivated individuals who want to make a difference
- Some experience working with children or young people (school, tutoring, mentoring, youth work etc.)
- A strong interest in SEN and supporting pupils with additional needs
- Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
