Oxbridge Graduate Academic Tutor

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an Oxbridge Graduate Academic Tutor for an elite Kensington secondary school. Salary: £28k–£32k per year, Full-Time, September start.

About the Role

This is not a standard TA role. As an Academic Tutor, you will work with some of the most capable students in London—stretching top performers while strategically supporting those on the grade 4/5 border to secure strong passes. You will become a key academic influence within the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-impact 1:1 and small group academic interventions
  • Stretch high-attaining students towards grades 8–9 / A–A*
  • Support KS4 & KS5 learners with exam strategy, essay technique, and subject mastery
  • Collaborate with outstanding teachers to refine your own teaching practice
  • Contribute to a data-driven, results-focused academic culture

What We’re Looking For

  • Oxbridge graduate (essential) in a core academic subject
  • Outstanding academic profile (A-Level & GCSE excellence)
  • Natural intellectual confidence and the ability to inspire top students
