Job Details

Duties

  • Plan and deliver tailored, creative lessons that meet the individual needs of each pupil
  • Work with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including SEMH, ASD, PMLD, and/or complex learning difficulties
  • Collaborate with a skilled team of teaching assistants, therapists, and specialists
  • Contribute to the development and review of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and carers

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (specialist setting desirable)
  • Patient, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about inclusive education
  • Can work confidently as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Holds or is working towards a relevant SEN qualification (desirable but not essential)
