Job Description

Our client is a material science manufacturer producing innovative advanced material solutions. They are seeking a driven, technically capable-minded graduate to support the continued global growth of their Marine business. This is a long-term role suited to a candidate with a technical background, strong work ethic, and an ambition to build a career in the composite marine market.

Working closely with the Marine sales manager, you will provide internal sales support to the external team. The role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the integration of advanced composite materials into marine applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support internal sales activities for the marine team and coordinate new projects
  • Develop an understanding of shaft line propulsion systems and the application of Railko and Feroform composite bearings
  • Handle technical queries and provide accurate, timely responses to customers
  • Prepare and issue quotations for marine-related projects
  • Assist in creating marketing strategies and promotional materials
  • Participate in exhibitions and customer meetings to represent the company
  • Work with suppliers and support customer relationship management

Requirements

  • Ideally a Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, Materials, or related discipline)
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role (sales, customer service, or technical support)

  • Ability to work from our Manchester office
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
