Visitor Experience Assistant
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a full-time Visitor Experience Assistant at the National Museum of Flight, East Fortune, East Lothian. Salary £26,881 per year (£14.71 per hour). Seasonal from April to October. Excellent benefits include Civil Service Pension, generous holidays, and free museum access.
About the Role
As a Visitor Experience Assistant at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you are the first person visitors see. You will work front of house, greet visitors, promote programmes and events, and provide site tours. This is a customer service driven role.
- Be proactive, approachable and visitor-focused
- Promote and support public programmes, exhibitions and events
- Develop knowledge of the Museum’s collections, displays, objects and stories
Skills and Experience Required
- Exceptional standard of customer service
- Effective communication skills
- Full driving licence (desirable)
- Genuine interest in working with the public
- Experience in a customer facing role
