About The Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join our successful and supportive department. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate classroom practitioner at any stage of their career.
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable)
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
- Contribute to the continued development of the Science curriculum and wider department
Key Responsibilities:
- To plan, resource and deliver lessons and sequences of lessons to the highest standard
- Provide or contribute to oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to individual pupils and groups of pupils
- Teach engaging and effective lessons that motivate, inspire and improve pupil attainment
Qualification Criteria:
- Qualified to degree level in Science and up to date knowledge in the curriculum area
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Right to work in the U.K.
