Complex Care Support Worker

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to clients with complex needs in their homes or care settings.
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding (including PEG feeding).
  • Administer medication and support with clinical procedures following appropriate training.
  • Support clients in accessing community resources, activities, and social events.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families to create and implement care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on client progress and health status.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.

About You

  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • Previous experience in a role within health and social care sector (at least 6 months within the UK).
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are preferred but not essential.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Willingness to undergo further training to support the complex needs of our clients.
