Warehouse Picker - Lates
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Ltd is hiring a Warehouse Picker for the Lates shift at the Leyland depot. This is a full-time, permanent position with a discretionary £2000 annual bonus. Main duties include picking orders from 1,500 products, manual handling, stock control, and adhering to health and safety standards.
Main Duties
- Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, pick and pack customer orders correctly, stacking and wrapping professionally.
- Pick from 1,500 different products including kegs, packaged beers, wines, and spirits.
- Adhere to good practice within the warehouse.
- Place orders in correct delivery areas.
- Report stock issues to supervisory or stock control team.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Wear correct personal protective equipment (safety boots, gloves, high-visibility vest).
- Maintain housekeeping standards.
- Put away new stock ASAP in correct bin-bay location.
- Assist with weekly stock audits and monthly stock takes.
- Flexible approach including acting as driver's mate when required.
Key Skills & Experience
- Ability to prioritise workloads.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Good product knowledge.
- Flexi FLT licence is an advantage.
