Bar and Waiting Apprenticeship

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Bar and Waiting Apprentice at the Golden Retriever in Bracknell. This full-time apprenticeship offers a salary of £325.50 - 381.30 per week. No experience needed – just a warm, helpful manner.

About the Role

As part of our front of house team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you'll be the friendly face our guests remember. You'll know our menu inside out and recommend your favourites. With over 13 brands and 1600 businesses, the opportunities to learn and grow are endless.

Responsibilities

  • Offer a warm welcome and farewell to guests, effectively communicating the service cycle, products and special offers.
  • Provide personalised recommendations catering to guest preferences.
  • Value regular guests by remembering preferences and engaging in meaningful conversations.
  • Check all guests enjoy their meal and discuss the guest experience survey.
  • Provide fast and efficient service, handling queries and complaints professionally.
  • Communicate with the team to deliver outstanding service and support colleagues.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights.
  • Maintain cleanliness of front of house, outdoor and toilet areas.
  • Participate in all in-house training, e-learning and complete assigned modules.
  • Adhere to brand standards, licensing laws and company policies.

Apprenticeship Details

You will work towards a Hospitality Team Member Level 2 Apprenticeship over 15 months. Delivered through work-based training with face-to-face sessions and remote calls with your Lifetime Learner Coach every 6 weeks. You will also have a mentor within the workplace. Obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths if not already held.

Wage

16-20 year olds: £10.85 per hour. 21+ year olds: £12.71 per hour.
