SEND Support Practitioner

This permanent, full-time (35 hours per week), term-time only role provides tailored support to learners with additional needs. Key responsibilities include creating inclusive learning environments, helping students overcome barriers, and empowering them to reach their full potential. The role offers a competitive salary (Pro-Rata £23,500 - £33,276.90 / FTE £26,000 - £36,817 per annum) plus benefits including 35 days annual leave, well-being days, and a pension scheme.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Level 2 Learning Support qualification, or willingness to achieve within an agreed period
- Experience of providing support or teaching/learning to students of school/college age
- Minimum Level 2 in English and Maths
- Willingness to work towards secondary specialist support areas at Level 2
- Dyslexia SEND Support Practitioners require Level 3 supporting Learners with Dyslexia qualification
- Skills/experience in GCSE and Functional Skills Maths and English are advantageous
