Brief Description

We are looking for an experienced BSL Interpreter that is fully qualified and registered to join our team here at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. You will be completing remote interpreting bookings for our contracted and adhoc clients. You will also be completing face-to-face bookings. Your experience should be underpinned by accuracy, impartiality and precision.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • You will work with the BSL Business Manager in supporting other freelance professionals.
  • You will fulfil bookings allocated by our dedicated Inclusion team.
  • You will work as part of the Inclusion team, taking on specific tasks for projects that fall within your skillset.
  • You will establish a great working relationship with all departments within the company to increase service effectiveness and business efficiency.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 3 or more years experience as RSLI.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Person Specification and Behaviour

  • We are looking for someone who is self-motivated.
  • An individual who hold commercial awareness and is results orientated.
  • A positive and ‘can do’ attitude with a passion for service.
  • You should be able to think outside of the box, being innovative and confidently sharing your ideas..

Other Information

  • Full-time, Permanent
  • Part time and full time considered on both employed and freelance basis
  • Ability to commute or relocate to Newbury RG14 1LA
  • Need to have Right to Work in the UK

Hours

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Thursday: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm
  • Friday: 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
