Are you a confident Customer Service individual with experience in the Freight Forwarding industry? Do you have good Excel skills, a confident telephone manner & the ability to work to tight deadlines?

Overview: As a Freight Forwarder, you will join the organization in the UK and take responsibility for developing freight forwarding activities between UK and Europe, either via your own direct clients or by assisting core traffic departments. You will have the opportunity experience the operational side of logistics at one of Europe's leading logistics companies.

Responsibilities

• Customer liaison - dealing with quotations, bookings, general enquiries ensuring service levels are met
• Ensure all movements are completed to the customer's satisfaction
• Develop and evaluate opportunities for Freight Management
• Dealing with all hauliers in respect of allocating work for delivery and collection
• Negotiate freight rates with subcontractors
• Identify potential subcontractors

Skills/Experience Required

• Experience within the freight forwarding industry
• Excellent Customer Relationships Skills
• Strong attention to detail
