Ecommerce Executive - CRO / Merchandising
Location: Godalming | Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum | Type: Full-time, On-site
Job Purpose
A leading brand in the travel industry, we are looking for an Ecommerce Executive to support the optimisation strategy of our well-established online B2C and B2B capability, and to help us deliver significantly improved customer journeys across all our channels.
Main Responsibilities
- Execute on a variety of projects aimed at optimising page performance by providing a dynamic, engaging customer experience.
- Assist the Head of Ecommerce in establishing best practice for AB / MVT testing and creating a test strategy and roadmap.
- Analyse site metrics and related data to identify merchandising and optimisation opportunities, working collaboratively with the Insights team and the Web Analyst.
- Develop and execute cross-sell / upsell activities.
- Analyse the customer journey, suggesting ideas for AB / MVT tests to make improvements on these areas, implementing the tests using Webtrends and analysing test results.
- Attend meetings to plan and develop site content, style and appearance.
- Log, track and deliver ecommerce tickets.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience of optimising websites with 2-3 years track record in a similar role.
- An interest in Online Merchandising: An eye for what makes consumers make decisions and looks good in the online space.
- Communication skills are critical to this position.
- Enjoying stakeholder relationships - you will be connecting with people on a daily basis.
- Good mix of analytical/conceptual skills to understand and then optimise page performance.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Basic HTML, CSS, JS knowledge.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Positive, energetic attitude.
